HANOI

Situated in the Red River Delta, Hanoi is a city formed by the alluvial of the Red River and its tributaries. Today this city is changing, like its country but still preserves many of its ancient monuments and ruins. The cultural architectural works being intimately marked by the history of Vietnam and its legends, it creates stunning visuals and a very mystical atmosphere. The numerous gardens,trees and lakes provide a peacfull scenary.

Benefiting of a tropical climate, there are essentially two main seasons : winter from November to April , quite cool and dry; February and March are slightly rainy. The summer, the hot and humid season with heavy rains and storms runs from May to October. The annual average temperature is 23ºC, with an average of 17ºC in winter (minimum of 7ºC) and 29ºC in summer (maximum of 38ºC).

HALONG

Located in northeastern Vietnam, Halong Bay is bounded to the north by China and to the east by the Gulf of Tonkin.

The forest and the sea are the highlight of the province which is known for its natural resources, especially coal (which has been one of the main sources of income before the development of tourism in Viet-Nam).

Halong Bay is certified as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO for its natural beauties, with its magnificent karstic limestone landscape emerging from an emerald green water. It's incredible visuals and ambience has become quickly one of the traveler's favorite spots in Viet-Nam.

The city of Halong has other sectors of activity like; trade, port activities, coal industry, fishing, building materials and aquatic products processing.

It is a region rich in natural sites, some of which are classified as UNESCO World Heritage, but it is also the cradle of Vietnamese culture with archaeological remains dating back to 300 thousand years ago.

Nowadays, several ethnic groups are established in the province, each with their own traditions.

The average annual temperature is 25 ° C.

HUE

Located in central Vietnam, this area is marked by the sea on the East and by the Truong Son cordillera on the West.

The capital Hue city is 654km from Hanoi and 1051km from Ho Chi Minh city.

The region is rich by its architectural heritages, most of them reflect the life of Emperors and mandarins of the Nguyen reign, for example : the splendid citadel Kinh thành, palaces, hundreds of pagodas, churches, many beaches and pictures sites and all in the traditional culture of the city.

Situated in the center of Vietnam along the Perfume River, Hue is also a place where the royal music originated among with famous traditional dishes. The vestiges in Hue ancient capital have been classified and recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.

HOI AN

Hoi An city is located in the center of central of Vietnam, 30km south of Danang and is considered the most charming city of Vietnam. It is one of the few cities in Asia which architecture have remained almost intact. Between the XVIth and the XVIIIth centuries, this agricultural area was one of the main ports of Asia, especially for Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Italian and French merchants. The ancient streets, houses, temples and pagodas have been carefully preserved. The mixed from European’s elements makes Hoi An city the most charming city of Vietnam.

In addition to its natural beauty, Hoi An has many architectural and cultural heritage, some of which were recognized as UNESCO World Heritage.

In Hoi An, you can find or buy easily valuable essences like ironwood, ebony and rosewood.

The first local were the ancestors of the powerful and fascinating Cham civilization.

HO CHI MINH CITY

Previously known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh city is carved by hundreds of rivers and arroyos.

There you can find numerous buildings with interesting architecture marked by the european and the sino vietnamese origins of the city, the region is also known for its flower villages and its luxurious gardens. There is an incredible energy emerging from this city which is the economic capital of Vietnam no wander why this city is called "the city that never sleeps" .

Two seasons can be observed: the rainy season from May to November bringing along most of the annual rain and the dry season from December to April. The annual average temperature is approximately 28ºC, there are no winter which means that the temperature is pleasant all year long.

Weather:

Northern Vietnam:

Dec – Feb: 10°C to 25°C, mostly dry, grey.

March: 15°C to 30°C, season change, dry.

April – June: 25°C to 35°C, some heavy showers.

Sept – Oct: 25°C to 35°C, clear weather, occasional showers.

Note: from 5°C to 10°C less in the mountains; make sure you have warm clothes.

Central Vietnam : Hoi An, Hue

Dec – Feb: 15°C to 30°C, mostly dry, grey.

March – Aug: 25°C to 35°C, dry, ideal.

Sept-Nov: 23°C to 32°C, rain risk due to atmospheric depressions.

Note: Occasional bad weather on the beaches from October to January.

Southern Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta

All year: 25°C to 30°C.

Nov – June: 22°C to 34°C, dry and enjoyable especially from December to February.

July – Oct: 25 to 35°C, showers late afternoon, especially in September.

Beaches:

Nha Trang :

All year: 25 to 35°C

Nov – Dec: occasional showers.

Phan Thiet and Vung Tau:

All year: 25 à 30°C

May - Oct: occasional showers.

Note: Its reputation is not due to the beaches but to the multiple cultural and natural sites around.

Phu Quoc :

All year: 25 to 35°C.

July - Sept: showers late afternoon, refreshing but can last long.

Note: Magnificent beaches, to combine with Mekong Delta.
