This trip is dedicated to the discovery of Cambodia and Southern Vietnam. DAY 1 : YOUR CITY Flight to SIEM REAP

Departure at your own expense from the airport of your choice; Registration and formalities for the flight to Siem Reap.
Dinner and night on board.

DAY 2 : SIEM REAP

Breakfast on board. Lunch on board or in local restaurant according to the flight schedule.
Arrival in Siem Reap. Welcoming by your guide and then transfer to the city.
Road to Tonle Sap Lake, one of the wonders of Asia. Boat trip to a floating village animated by fisheries activities and livestock, providing a colourful spectacle, then visit of Scents of Angkor” factory. Discover how candles, soaps and other creams are made and as well the process of spices such as pepper chili, curry etc. Visit of the art gallery “Theam’s House“, located in a rural style house where the artist, Lim Muy Theam creates sculptures and paintings with high value to art collectors.

DAY 3 : SIEM REAP

Early visit by tuk-tuk to explore Angkor Thom with the Terrace of ElephantsTerrace of the Leper King and Angkor Wat, masterpiece of Khmer art which became a symbol of Cambodia.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Pursuit of visits, if necessary after a short nap, the extraordinary Bayon, the temple of many faces.
Dinner in a local restaurant, with a traditional dance show, the Apsara dancethat has been ranked as UNESCO immaterial world heritage. Night at the hotel.

DAY 4 : SIEM REAP

Departure to visit Banteay Srei temple, the “Citadel of Women”. Along the way, stop in a traditional village where palm sugar is produced (depending on season).
Next stop, visit of the Butterfly Garden and Ta Keo temple, then walking to Ta Nei, small temple away from mass tourism, located in the forest creating a mysterious atmosphere.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Road to the famous Ta Prohm temple engulfed by vegetation that puts visitors in the skin of the first explorers. Then visit of Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from 12th century and Srah Srang, known as the “pool of ablutions”. Take a walk in the village of Srah Srang before going to visit the Mebon temple and finally, admire sunset from the top of Pre Rup temple.
Dinner in a local “modern khmer” style restaurant “The Square 24”. Night at the hotel.

DAY 5 : SIEM REAP / PHNOM PENH

Road to Phnom Penh, on the way, visit of Sambor Prei Kuk site (seventh century) which is the most important pre-Angkorian complex. Back on the road with a short stop in the village of Skun, famous for its culinary specialty: spiders! You can eat them and take them on your hands if you want.
Lunch on the road. Arrival to Phnom Penh and check-in at your hotel.
Dinner and night at the hotel.

DAY 6 : PHNOM PENH / CHAU DOC

City tour of the historic capital: Silver Pagoda, the National Museum which offers a wonderful collection of bronze coins, sculptures and bas-reliefs etc. Early lunch near the pier.
Boarding on a speed boat in the direction of Chau Doc. Navigation along the Mekong, administrative formalities at the border. Arrival in Chau Doc, greeting by your Vietnamese tour-guide and check-in at the hotel.
Dinner and night at the hotel.

DAY 7 : CHAU DOC / CAN THO

Departure to Tra Su forest, the bird’s garden. Boarding on a small boat to cross small arroyos and to contemplate storks, night herons and other tropical birds and on the way, visit of a crocodile farm. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Road to Can Tho. On the way, visit of the ancient house of Binh Thuy, one of the most beautiful houses of South Vietnam and very representative of the colonial architectural style.
Arrival in Can Tho and check-in at your hotel.
Diner in a restaurant on the river banks. Night at the hotel.

DAY 8 : CAN THO / Le Cochinchine

Departure by boat on the Nong Cai canal to discover the river activities and the Cai Rang floating market. Tasting of fresh fruits of the area, directly bought from a boat on the river. Back to the pier and embarkation aboard a traditional wooden boat. Welcome drink. Lunch aboard the boat while cruising through the canals. 
Bicycle ride across small green paths, stop in the Lach village in order to visit one of the gardens and taste some of the tropical fruits. Back on the boat and pursuit of your cruise towards Cai Be, where you will enjoy a magical sunset from the deck of the boat. The boat will anchor for the night.

DAY 9 : Le Cochinchine / CHO LACH

Sailing through Cai Be wholesale floating market. Back on land and visit of a small village specialized in handcrafts, visit of ancient houses and tasting of tropical fruits. Navigate across the small arroyos between the islands. Short bicycle ride across on luxuriant small paths. Back on the main boat and disembarkation. Transfer by boat towards Cho Lach. Arrival to Nam Hien cottage where you will spend the night, typical wooden house of the delta. Lunch of local delicacies. 
Discover the local life and the history of the area where arboriculture is very important as it has always been a very fertile land. Bicycle trip along the shaded little backways of the village and get back in time for cooking dinner along with the family. For dinner, duck cooked in coconut milk, a specialty of the family. Night at the cottage.

DAY 10 : CHO LACH / HO CHI MINH

Bicycle ride to the nearby local market filled with fresh products from the delta. Road back throughout the little trails, great way to get in touch with the local life. Road to Ho Chi Minh. Lunch along the way.
Tour in Chinatown for its special atmosphere, very commercial area, the great Binh Tay Marketherbalists alleys, the Thien Hau Temple, known for his statuettes glazed ceramic. Visit of a lacquer factory where are exposed many lacquered objects and incrusted with nacre, ancestral tradition of Vietnam.
Diner cruise on the Mekong River with traditional music show. Night at the hotel.

DAY 11 : HO CHI MINH Flight to YOUR CITY

Walking tour around the old colonial district, photo stop in front of the Reunification Palace before visiting the central post office, designed by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop; followed by Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed in 1880. Walk on the ex-Catinat street to the city hall, the municipal theatre and the historic “Continental” hotel. Lunch in a local restaurant.
According to your return flight, Transfer to the airport for your return flight. Check-in formalities and boarding.

DAY 1 : SIEM REAP / PHNOM KULEN / PREAH KRAL

Early departure towards Kulen Hill where you will be trekking all morning. Walk across the thick forest up to the waterfalls. Lunch in a village nearby the waterfalls, then walk towards Sras Damrei, giant monolith representing elephants and lions, and the Bat cave.
Late afternoon, way back to Preah Kral to spend the night in a monastery.
Dinner in the monastery. Overnight homestay.

DAY 2 : PREAH KRAL / TA PENH Village

Breakfast at the homestay. Trek throughout the forest to discover hidden temples constructed by the king Jayavarman II during the 9th century, the Pa Ong temples. Lunch during the tour.
Afterwards, continue the trek towards Ta Peng village where you will be greeted by a host family. There are around 200 families in this village, all leaving out of farming.
Dinner with the host family. Overnight homestay.

DAY 3 : TA PENH Village / PREAH ANGTHOM Waterfalls

Trek throughout villages, rice fields and jungles towards Kra Hom temple on the top of a hill. On the way you will see a big reclining Buddha before hitting the Preah Angthom waterfalls. 
Then way towards a village nearby where you can enjoy time at leisure in the village to walk around and get to know your hosts.
Dinner with your hosts. Night at the homestay.

DAY 1 : SIEM REAP / KBAL SPEAN / SRAH SRANG

Early departure with your tour-guide for a jungle walk, a peaceful and wild environment that will make you feel like an explorer.
Road back to Angkor area for a local lunch on the banks of Srah Srangreservoir. After lunch, time for a nap in a hamac. After this nap, road to a nearby village and greeting by a host family for a walk around the village.
For dinner, a typical Khmer meal with your hosts. Overnight homestay.

DAY 2 : SIEM REAP / PHNOM KULEN

Road towards Phnom Kulen for a trek in the countryside. Hiking to the top of Phnom Kulen hill following the path of the pilgrims, this hill is a sacred site for the Khmer. Along the way you will witness a river with thousands of Shiva Lingas sculpted on its rocks, a great reclining Buddha and a magnificent pagoda where often held religious ceremonies. 
Lunch at your expense, possibility to take a swim in a nearby waterfall. 
After lunch road towards Anlong Thom village on a moto taxi throughout the jungle and many villages.

DAY 3 : PHNOM KULEN / SIEM REAP

Walk across the jungle, karstic valleys and high grass to discover the tour of Krobei Krab and the exceptional site of Sras Damrei, giant monolith representing elephants and lions, lost in a thick tropical jungle. 
Pic-nic lunch at the Preah Kraal pagoda very popular among the ones seeking for a spiritual retreat who come there for meditation.
Road back to Siem Reap by car and transfer towards airport.

DAY 2 : PHNOM PENH

Welcomed by your guide and transfered to the hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can visit Wat Phnom Pagoda, a pleasant and symbolic place of the city located on top of a small hill.
Then, you will walk in the old French quarter of Phnom Penh with its houses and public buildings of the “Belle Epoque” style and “Art Deco” dating from the colonial period: the post office, the national library, the rail station etc.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3 : PHNOM PENH

Visit of the historical capital: the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. Breakfast in a local restaurant.
Continuation of the discovery with the prison of the Khmer Rouge regime : Tuoi Sleng, now transformed into a museum of the Genocide. Afterwards, you will visit the Russian Market (Psar Toul Tom Poung or Psar Thmey) known as the Central Market, and its impressive building is a colonial style built in 1937.

DAY 4 : PHNOM PENH / KAMPONG THOM / SIEM REAP

Departure to Siem Reap with a brief stop in the village of Skun, known for its culinary specialty: spiders.
Back on the road to visit Sambor Prei Kuk (7th century) which is the most important pre-Angkorian complex.
Lunch on the road. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5 : SIEM REAP

DAY 6 : SIEM REAP

Visit of the Banteay Srei temple, the “Citadel of the women“, thenn on the way, we will stop in a traditional village producing palm sugar and you will also discover the Butterfly Garden and the Ta Keo Temple.
You will walk to Ta Nei, where you will visit a small temple little located in a forest, which gives this mysterious atmosphere…
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Then we will go to Ta Prohm temple to visit the 12th century Banteay Kdei monastery and Srah Srang temple, known for its ablutions basin. You will walk through the village of Srah Srang before discovering Mebon templeand admire the sunset from the top of the Pre Rup temple.

Option: At the end of the afternoon, it is possible to make a hot air balloon flight at 200 meters from the ground to discover a breathtaking panoramic view on the site of Angkor and its surroundings.
For safety reasons, hot air ballooning can be modified depending on weather conditions.

DAY 7 : SIEM REAP

Visit of the local market and road to Lake Tonle Sap, one of the wonders of Asia. You will embark for a boat trip to discover the floating village animated by fishing activities which offers a colorful spectacle. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Then, you will visit the factory “Scents of Angkor where you will learn how creams, soaps, candles, etc. are produced; as well as the process of producing spices like pepper, pepper, curry, etc.
Before returning to your hotel, you will visit an art gallery “Theam’s House, located in a rural house where Lim Muy Theam creates valuable sculptures and paintings for art collectors.
Dinner in a local restaurant with a dance show. Night at the hotel.

DAY 8 : SIEM REAP / BATTAMBANG

Visit the Inkosei Pagoda, built on the ruins of an ancient temple, and Bo Pagoda with its preserved paintings.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a small ceremony of blessingmade by the Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and protection during your journey. You will then leave for Battambang with a brief stop to discover Puok and its silk farm.
Lunch at a local restaurant on the road.
Upon arrival in Battambang, you will be transferred to your hotel. Free time to stroll along the Sangke River and admire the charm of this city. You can also visit the Manoir du Gouverneur and then stroll around Wat Kor village known for its magnificent traditional houses.

DAY 9 : BATTAMBANG

Day dedicated to the discovery of the countryside by tuk-tuk, with several stops to discover rural life: rice paper factory, making rolls of dried bananas, manufacture of rice alcohol, and visit a Prahoc factory (fish paste) to test your senses and your tolerance!
Lunch prepared by a Cambodian family.
Pursuit of the road and visit a memorial commemorating the genocide perpetrated by the Khmer Rouge. Start of a unique experience on the “Bamboo-Train” discover the beautiful landscapes of rice fields and countryside through an old railway built by the French. Visit Wat Ek.
In the evening, circus show by the famous troupe Phare Ponleu Selpak – theatrical mixture of music, dance and acrobatics (only on Mondays and Thursdays).

DAY 10 : BATTAMBANG / SIHANOUKVILLE

Departure to Sihanoukville and on the way, stop at the floating village of Kampong Chhnang and visit a village known for its artisanal pottery production. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Poursuit of the road to Sihanoukville, along the clear waters of the Gulf of Siam; the white sandy beaches are bordered by plantations of coconut palms and pines on several kilometers of coast.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and night at the hotel.

DAY 11 : SIHANOUKVILLE

Day at leisure to enjoy the beach. All meals at the hotel. Night at hotel
Option: An unforgettable day on the beautiful islands. Koh Rong Samloem is a pearl surrounded by turquoise blue water. We will anchor in Koh Rong Samloem bay with white sandy beaches and the first protected lagoon in Cambodia. You can also walk through a rainforest and mangrove tropical river. On the way to the island, we will stop to Koh Tas, which is one of the secret spots for Robert’s amazing snorkeling coral garden. Equipment is provided for snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, etc. On board you’ll find a fresh water shower and western style toilets. We’ll promise you one of the best days of your holiday!

DAY 12 : SIHANOUKVILLE
