During the trip, you will have the opportunity to taste local delicacies. You will visit many historical and cultural sites, mostly pagodas, temples and monasteries. You will enjoy to discover the local markets and the Inle Lake population who will share its culture. Eventually, you will get on board to a nice ship on the lake.

DAY 1 : YOUR CITY flight YANGON

Departure at your own expense from the airport of your choice; registration and formalities for the flight to Yangon. Dinner and overnight on the plane.

DAY 2 : YANGON

At the airport you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
You will discover the city, where colonial buildings and charming alleys are mingled. You will go between food stalls and small used books shops to discover the Emmanuel Baptist Church built in 1830 or the Sule pagoda, where you can consult one of the many “fortune tellers” in the shade of the trees.
You will pass through the lively districts of Chinatown and Little India before stopping at the Sri Kali temple, the most colorful of Hindu temples in Yangon.

DAY 3 : YANGON

Located in northeastern Vietnam, Halong Bay is bounded to the north by China and to the east by the Gulf of Tonkin.
The forest and the sea are the highlight of the province which is known for its natural resources, especially coal (which has been one of the main sources of income before the development of tourism in Viet-Nam).
Halong Bay is certified as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO for its natural beauties, with its magnificent karstic limestone landscape emerging from an emerald green water. It’s incredible visuals and ambience has become quickly one of the traveler’s favorite spots in Viet-Nam.
The city of Halong has other sectors of activity like; trade, port activities, coal industry, fishing, building materials and aquatic products processing.
It is a region rich in natural sites, some of which are classified as UNESCO World Heritage, but it is also the cradle of Vietnamese culture with archaeological remains dating back to 300 thousand years ago.
Nowadays, several ethnic groups are established in the province, each with their own traditions.
The average annual temperature is 25 ° C.

DAY 4 : YANGON flight BAGAN

Transfer to the airport and flight to Bagan. You will arrive before the majority of visitors, allowing you to enjoy the splendor of the temple of Ananda, one of the highest in Bagan. Visit the temples and villages, where you will learn a little more about the local culture with the discovery of two workshops that produce lacquer and wood.
From a small private wooden boat, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the calm waters of the Irrawaddy River lit by the last rays of sunshine. Lunch and dinner at leisure. Night in Bagan. 

DAY 5 : BAGAN

After visiting the Nyaung Oo Market and the famous Shwezigon Pagoda, take the dusty roads and shady paths lined with temples and monasteries to discover the villages and their inhabitants. Walk through the Bagan site to discover its many temples including Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi and Sulamani.
Meals at your convenience. Night in Bagan.
Option: Hot air balloon tour over Bagan
The morning will start with a hot air balloon ride on the Bagan countryside to admire the sunrise over the Irrawaddy River and the various stupas. A unique spectacle in the world …! Continue with the discovery of the market Nyaung Oo and the famous Shwezigon pagoda before leaving for a small village and the daily life of its inhabitants.
Option available in October / November to March. In case of last minute cancellation due to bad weather conditions, full payment will be refunded.

DAY 6 : BAGAN flight MANDALAY

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Your day begins with a visit at Kyauktawgyi and Kuthodaw pagodas before you discover the monastery of Shwenandaw, known as the “Golden Monastery” and the last vestige of the Royal Palace that survived during the 19th century. You will then have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful craft workshop of Burma producing wooden sculptures, Kalaga tapestries, making gold leaf …
Next step: Amarapura, the penultimate royal capital of Burma. Your visit will begin with the monastery of Mahagandayon, home to more than a thousand young monks, then the legendary U Bein bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world built in 1782. Enjoy the special atmosphere at sunset. Lunch and dinner at your convenience. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 7 : MANDALAY / SAGAING / AVA / MANDALAY

DAY 8 : MANDALAY flight HEHO / PINDAYA

Transfer to Mandalay airport for your flight to Heho then departure for Pindaya.
You will meet a family in a village near Pindaya, and you will taste a freshly prepared cup of tea. Then, you will discover soy drying techniques and will have the possibility of helping the family in the tea plantations of the farm as well as in the preparation of the famous tea leaves.
Eventually, you will visit the wonderful caves of Pindaya.
Lunch and dinner at your convenience. Night in Pindaya.

DAY 9 : PINDAYA / INLE LAKE

Start the day with a short tour of the local market before heading to the village of Nyaung Shwe, gateway to Inle Lake. You might stop along the way to visit the traditional paper craft factories before heading to the Shweyanpyay teak monastery. You will get on board of a boat to reach and visit the main sites of Inle Lake through several villages.
Visit the Nga Chaung Hpe Monastery with its collection of ancient Buddha statues and the main sanctuary of the lake: Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which houses five sacred images of Buddha covered with gold leaf. Discover the different trades of Inle by visiting the village of Inpawkhone known for its weaving of lotus fibers, its workshop of cheroots (Burmese cigars) and its workshop of silver.

DAY 10 : INLE LAKE / INDEIN / INLE LAKE

After breakfast, you will visit the lake market and then a one-hour trip will take you to Pa-Oh Indein village. Stroll through the village before you begin your ascent to the top of the hill. The Indein Pagoda complex is one of the lake’s most impressive sites, consisting of a hundred stupas covered with moss and greenery.
During the return trip, you can stop at Inthar Heritage House a not-for-profit organisation that preserves the cultural and natural wealth of the Inle region.

DAY 11 : INLE / HEHO flight YANGON flight YOUR CITY

Unfortunately, it’s time to say goodbye to one of the most enchanting countries in the world…!
Transfer to the airport and flight to Yangon.
Depending on the time of your return flight, you will have the opportunity to explore the Bogyoke market, to buy your last souvenirs and stroll through the animated aisles. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the return flight.
