In the Centre, you will visit the charming old town of Hoi An and the imperial monuments of Hue. You will walk in beautiful villages known for their traditional handcraft.
In the North, Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh (terrestrial Halong Bay) are well complemented by the small paths to meet locals in the villages along the way.
You will have the chance to venture to places away from mass tourism, full of authenticity, such as Phong Nha Caves, the old village of Phuoc Tich, the 17th historic parallel, the littoral coast and exotic local markets.
What will you do during your trip?
During the trip, you will have the opportunity to taste local delicacies, meals made by your Vietnamese hosts (homestay). You will attend a costume and musical dinner as well as a welcome dinner in Hanoi, a tai-chi lesson on the junk’s deck, and you will be initiated to Vietnamese cuisine.
For you, we have chosen nice hotels downtown as well as a wonderful traditional junk where you will spend a night. During the tour, you will experience the rickshaw, a domestic flight, the coach, the small boats and a cruise in a junk.

DAY 1: YOUR CITY flight HANOI
Departure from the airport of your choice and all registration formalities for the flight to Hanoï at your own expenses.Dinner and night on board.
DAY 2 : HANOI
At your arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your English speaking guide and transferred to the city to do some sightseeing around Ba Dinh square, you will see the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum from outside, and the one pillar Pagoda. You will go on a walking tour around the old district to see the colonial style Opera, the Ly Thai To park and the Hoan Kiem lake.
You will attend a Welcome dinner and Night at your hotel.
DAY 3 : HANOI / HALONG BAY
A tour around the old quarter in a Rickshaw and then you will visit the temple of Literature.
Possibility to stop for a walk in Dong Trieu village while taking the road to Halong. On the way, lunch in a local restaurant.
Check-in and departure for a fantastic cruise through the beautiful areas of the Bay which will give the opportunity to witness its unforgettable scenery. Karstic rocks will tickle your imagination along with the floating fishermen homes sleeping in harmony with the nature of the bay. Visit one of the most beautiful rocks caves of the area. Seafood dinner specialities served on board. For those who wish to, why not try squid fishing? A very amusing and intrigiuing experience.

DAY 4 : HALONG BAY / NINH BINH
In the morning, you will have the opportunity to attend a Tai Chi lessons on the deck of the boat in the natural and peaceful environment of the bay. Breakfast on board.
You will have a quick boat ride to the “Hang Luon” water-tunnel caves overhanging a large natural water tank. Pursuit of your cruise throughout the magnificent bay. Lunch on board. Disembarkation and
back on the road to Ninh Binh through the Red River Delta. Take Walk in a peaceful village where you will discover the farm life of its locals and the calm atmosphere which reigns in the area complimented by its intact landscape since times immemorial. Finnaly you will enjoy a water puppet showpresented by the artists of the village.

DAY 5 : NINH BINH / VINH
Boarding on a small boat called “Thung Nang” for a strollin the magnificent rice fields. Bike ride or walk on the way to the village surrounded by imposing karstic mountains landscapes. Lunch during the excursion.
We will Drive to Vinh following the center national road where you can Visit its local market. We will arrive in the city late in the afternoon.

DAY 6 : VINH / DONG HOI / HUE
Departure in the morning to Phong Nha, a world heritage site of UNESCO. Boat ride on the river and visit of Phong Nha caves. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Passing by the 17th parallel, you will be able to explore Phuoc Tich village which is classified as “national heritage” for its well-preserved traditions. Visiting one of the houses of its locals, uou will have the opportunity to discover the inhabitants way of life, their work, thir customs and their ancestors worship. Arrival in Hue, check-in at your hotel.
For dinner, you will taste the specialty of Hue “bun bo” at a local restaurant. Night at hotel.
DAY 7 : HUE
Visit of the Citadel: you can explore the Imperial city with the Palace of Supreme Harmony. We will take the road towards the Thien Mu pagoda known for its high octagonal tour. You will take a ride on a boat following the Perfume River. Discover the local life of the people on the river bank. For Lunch you will taste some Hue’s specialties in a family restaurant sitting on the banks of the Perfume River.
Back to Hue and on the way visit to of an incense and conical hats factory. Visiting the Emperor Tu Duc Tomb. Imperial costumed dinner with music and traditional music of Hue. Night at the hotel.
DAY 8 : HUE / HOI AN
Departure from the hotel to Hoi An via the famous Hai Van Pass. Visit of a typical village where locals lives of gardening: salad, aromatic leafs… Lunch in the village.
Walking tour around Hoi An old town: The Fujian sanctuary, followed by the Japanese covered bridge, the symbol of the city. The chinese Phuoc Kien Communal House, a traditional Tan Ky house. Visit of a lantern and silk factory.
Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant and night at the hotel.
DAY 9 : HOI AN / DANANG Flight HO CHI MINH
Transfer to Danang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City with Vietnam Airlines.
At your arrival to Ho Chi Minh, you will be transfered downtown to have lunch (according to the flight schedule) and discover the colonial district of the city and its various monuments like The central post office designed in Gustave Eiffel’s workshop or the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Reunification Palace.
Walking tour in the lively Dong Khoi Street to the Municipal Theatre, the historic Continental Hotel, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market …
Tour in the Chinese district also known as Cholon. Visit of the local market Binh Tay, walk through the street of traditional medicinal products and discover the Thien Hau Pagoda.
A Farewell dinner in Saigon and choice between cruise or barbecue depending on weather.
Night at the hotel downtown (convenient for night walks !)
DAY 10 : HO CHI MINH / CAI BE / CAN THO (MEKONG DELTA)
Visit a traditional lacquer factory where you will have the possibility to buy some souvenirs.
We will take the Road towards Cai Be in the Mekong Delta which is a large network of canals spreading on an area of 40 000 km². On the way, we will visit of a Cao Dai temple. Cruising through the river along the canals surround by a luxuriant vegetation. Passing by a wholesale floating market you will taste some local fruits on the boat. Quick stop on the way, to discover the making of rice cake, coconut candy and rice wine. Lunch on an island to taste the local specialty : the elephant ear fish. Back on the road to Can Tho.
Check-in at hotel. Dinner at restaurant next to banks of Mekong’s arm. Night at the hotel.
DAY 11 : CAN THO / HO CHI MINH Flight YOUR CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure for a small cruise on the river: navigating towards Cai Rang floating market, hooking of on a smaller boat selling fruits you will taste delicious fresh pineapple in an exotic atmosphere.
Back on the road heading back to Ho Chi Minh City and lunch at local restaurant.
According to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport. Assistance for registration formalities and flight to your city on a regular airline flight… Dinner and night on board.
DAY 12 : YOUR CITY
Breakfast on board. Arrival to your city.
